Mental Talk – Peer Support Group: Stigmas surrounding Mental Health
In this peer support group, we will discuss what are some of the most common and uncommon stigmas associated with mental health. We will talk about personal experiences and ways in which we believe we can help end the stigma. Everyone’s mental health is important, and the more we make sure people take care of it the better chances we have at ending the stigmas.
About Mental Talk: Good Mental Health is all about talking, sharing, and listening to one another. What better way to share life experiences in a supportive peer and topic lead group. Topics will range from work, family, caregivers and life balance, meditation, chronic pain, self-care, stress, racism (Transgenerational Trauma) depression, and more. Mental Talk is for someone who believes peer mental health support is important. This group is open, honest, and willing to share in a supportive environment. No judgment. Always kindness.
