Did you know…
1 in 25 Americans lives with a mental health disorder. This can affect a child’s ability to study if they are caregivers to a parent or sibling.
In most cases, because of lack of services, stigma, and support, children become caregivers to their parent or siblings and this can affect a child’s ability to be children, worry about food, travel, shelter, educational needs, study, focus on school activities or get good grades to have better futures.
Our goal is to offset issues of learning with mentoring, tutoring, day camp and grants for school supplies to help all children success into the future. Donate to Step Up For Mental Health to make a difference in a family’s or child’s life.
