Mental Health First Aid (MHFA): Training Certification Training (Jan 19, 2024)

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an early intervention public education program. It is an evidence-based training created by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing designed to teach adults how to recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental health challenge, how to listen nonjudgmentally, and show empathy and to give reassurance to a person who may be experiencing a crisis and how to refer a person to appropriate professional support and services.

Some of the people who take Mental Health First Aid training include:

Families members, health care workers, staff who deal with underserved individuals like the unhoused, nurses, social workers, teachers, family caregivers, and first responders, just to name a few.

Mental health has affected communities in unprecedented ways. Please take action now and register for our MHFA certification course. Space is limited, so act fast!

Note: Participants MUST complete 2.5 hours of self-paced online pre-work before attending the blended in-person training.
