We are supporting #MLKDay in a day of action and our day of service; we are supporting families all year long and particularly caregivers during these stressful times! We are also continuing to focus on mental health issues affecting families with situational anxiety and depression. Learn about Step Up For Mental Health® and what we do to support families dealing with mental health-related issues. Take a break and learn how you can support life-changing work with like-minded people around our community! We focus on self-care for caregivers supporting family members with mental health-related illnesses in 2026 and children’s mental health. Join us this Monday and share the idea of service and how you can contribute this year!

Step Up For Mental Health supports families and communities in need dealing with mental health-related issues, including poverty. Our #GivingForward campaign focuses on Mental Health and our three programs and the individuals and caregivers living in families with mental health illnesses. We are celebrating in partnership with The King Center’s 2026 MLK Day of Service to remember Martin Luther King Jr. Day, where we can give back to our communities during this time. Because families have been extremely affected by mental health in the last year particularly, we want to do our part to support families dealing with these issues. We will be having peer groups, one-to-one peer chat Sessions all year long.
Join us and spread the word on this virtual event to learn more about Step Up For Mental Health and how you can support our efforts by becoming a Ambassador of hope! Let’s help our community who are stepping up more than ever for the people they love. Sign up now and learn how you can be of service all year long and how we support many families in need via our helpline, peer support, partnerships, and outreach. Together we can all make a difference in service.

Mission:
Step Up For Mental Health®’s mission is to support, educate, and provide services to empower families living with the challenges of mental health disorders. We do this by providing a safe place to share stories and find support for others who are dealing with mental health disorders or caring for a family member with a mental illness. We believe that mental health issues impact social issues, including education, homelessness, and poverty. Step Up For Mental Health® strives to match families with resources to help move them toward a more productive life.
