Bi+ Talk: Peer Support Group: Bisexual Women and Mental Health

We are showing our support for women during March Bi+ Health Month! We believe that connecting with each other and sharing our lived experiences in a confirming and non-judgmental peer group is the best way to do so. So, we invite you to join us on the third Wednesday of this month for an hour-long session of connecting with like-minded people.

Good Mental Health is all about talking, sharing, and listening to one another. What better way to share life experiences in a supportive peer and topic-led peer support group? Topics will range from work, family, caregivers and life balance, meditation, self-care, stress and depression, and more. Bi+ Talk is for the bisexual community that believes peer mental health support is essential. This group is open, honest, and willing to share in a supportive environment. No judgment. This group event is FREE – $10 Donation.

We use Google Meet and can hold 150 people, but most likely, meetings will be between 5-25 people—best experience using Google Chrome Browser. Check your computer audio before peer group times for the best results.

Our peer support group events are virtual and require registration at this time. We will have live events at different locations throughout the city of Chicago if it is a live event. Check the event page for details on individual group events. When you register for virtual events, all Google Meet links will be sent to your email to join the group. You do not need any software but a laptop or tablet. If you are using a mobile phone, you will need to download the app. (The best way for mobile is horizontal viewing).

Providing Interactive Support and Services

Mental health touches a variety of groups and backgrounds. Our goal is to make life easier for all individuals and families dealing with mental health issues during stress and crisis during our COVID-19 times of Social Distancing.

The event is finished.
